Download Via Microsoft's Edge Browser (FAQ)

Microsoft Edge has enhanced security features that may block downloads of certain file types. The Durametric software installer may be flagged by Edge's SmartScreen filter, which is designed to protect users from potentially harmful downloads.

When using the Microsoft Edge browser to download Durametric, follow these steps:

1. At the bottom of the Downloads page under the "Software" heading, click the link for the latest program version.
   


2. When using the Edge browser, you will then see one of these two windows appear in the upper left corner:
   
   
   


3. Highlight that window to reveal three dots:
   


4. Click the three dots to open the sub-menu and then click "Keep":
   


5. When the next window appears, click "Keep Anyway".
   


6. When the following window appears, click "Show more" and then click "Keep anyway".
   


7. When the download is complete, click "Open file".
   


8. When the following notice appears, click "More info".
   


9. Then click "Run anyway".
   


10. The Durametric Setup window then appears. Follow the prompts to install the software.
